Brethren, the future of Publicity Lodge No. 1000 begins tonight. Join us for Step Up Night—an evening where every Brother has the opportunity to experience leadership, officers practice for the year ahead, and we collectively prepare for the challenges and responsibilities that await us.
What is Step Up Night?
Step Up Night is where officers move up one position in the line, giving everyone a chance to experience the next role in their progression. The Junior Deacon becomes Senior Deacon. The Senior Deacon steps into the Junior Warden's chair. And so on through the entire officer line—culminating with our Senior Warden taking the gavel in the East.
Why You Should Attend:
For Current Officers: This is essential preparation for your advancement. Practice your next role. Learn the duties. Ask questions. Make mistakes in a safe environment where we can all learn together.
For Prospective Officers: Curious about serving your lodge but not sure what each position entails? Step Up Night lets you try before you commit. Experience different roles and find where you might best serve.
For All Brothers: Understanding what our officers do deepens your appreciation for the work they perform and strengthens your connection to the lodge. Plus, witnessing Brothers step into leadership roles is genuinely inspiring.
